Ramadan Mubarak

More than a billion and a half of Muslims belonging to different ethnic groups all over the world are ready to start the sacred month ofRamadan.

Based on the calendar ofIslamRamadan falls the ninth month and lasts between 29 and 30 days depending on the lunar cycle. The start date is in relation to the sighting of the moon.

Ramadan begins with thehilalThe growing moon, and this therefore makes it simple for the faithful to calculate the beginning of this period.

According to tradition, Ramadan is the month of abstention and purification, during which in addition to practicing food fasting, (food, drinks and water included), sexual and spiritual fasting from dawn to sunset, it is also intensified by 'prayer activities, with the whole reading of the Koran.

At sunset, fasting is interrupted consuming usually more sumptuous than normal meals.

However, the evening meal, said, is typicalIftar, with a date, as according to tradition would have done theProphet, or with water. To the five canonical prayers, a special, nocturnal special one adds in time of Ramadan, and it is not unusual that this practice includes an integral reinterpretation of the Koran distributed throughout the month. Ramadan ends with a party calledEid al-Fitr, or "of breakage".

But Ramadan is also a spiritual fasting.

In this month we ask all the Muslims who hold back all the senses and thoughts from setting up on what is illegal,HaramIt has in sight the abandonment, both inner and external, of everything that has no harmony and the slightest crack of this intention breaks fasting.

The fasting in fact fortifies the will of man, helps him not to be a slave to the appetites of him but rather to dominate and master them, strengthens the patience in man thus becoming strong in the face of life evidence. He also teaches the pity and mercy to man, making him feel the hunger for the poor.
